You need to go the pbhg website. The pension plan is about 68% funded with $1.8B in unfunded pension liabilities. The website will show you what you get based on your age. The younger you are the less you receive. Your supplemental pension if you have one is not covered. Healthcare for all retirees after 12/31/15 receive $1k in healthcare and that is at the descent ion of Avaya. It is not guaranteed.

The pension $$ is in a separate fund and it's also now guaranteed by the govt.

As far as the free retiree healthcare we can all see that at some point that is most likely going end. Hopefully I make it to medicare first as the Avaya insurance becomes seconday ( still important) to medicare at age 65 or whenever a person because eligible for medicare.

I'm not sure if the retiree health care $ is in the pension fund or Avaya pays is every year

Don't drive yourself nuts over rumors you hear because not one person here really knows what if anything will happen and they may not even work ( or retired) from AT&T/Lucent /Avaya
