How do you get rid of your morals and work ethic so that you can move up like the a--hole who didn't do anything but sit in the bosses office kissing ass

Yeah, i just can't help but do the right thing all of the time. It just sucks when someone with no experiance and no education who was in the office because they were unable to do their job in the field flys past you and the job opening wasn't even posted. It is funny though because he is always coming to us for answers now. I can say it didn't feel bad giving him the wrong info. The look on his face when they go over the reports and he realizes that he had been misinforming his boss all along is priceless.

zky comment was so sweet that i done gagged n threw up my breakfast, splattered all over the wall, so what i hearing is tha whole damn lot of ya is crooked to some extent or another and it get worse the higher the up'da' ladder you get , fetchin up then what the outside world opinion already leans to. 'membr in the '08 when the wall street and lenders shysted the home buyers and sent the markets to hell and a bunch of folk done went and lost their job over toxic bank accounting then well the government they was quick to offer counters and stuff and done even went and extended the unemployment benefit for the people, but this oil business is hurtin and good folk done be getting severed by the crooks and croonies at the top, and NO ONE CARES OR GIVES A RATS assimplant cause its all pain to the oil people and no one gives a care 'done about those damn folks naw they'n don t , and you done wondering bout your morals,

You don't have to "get rid of your morals" - although how many here cheat on their taxes, cheat on their wives/husbands, leave work a little early, etc? Kind of a 'holier-than-thou' hypocrisy if you ask me.
You do have to play the politics to get ahead, that's the way the world works - sorry to be the barer of bad news to those of you who live in fantasyland. You just have to decide where your "morals" will take you and what - if anything - you are willing to compromise to get to your goal. Live strategically and you will succeed. Live day-to-day expecting the world to give you everything just "because" and you will fail.
