Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

Think about what it is going to be like working with half the staff you have now. It is going to be really fun for the remaining people after

October. Another three large cuts are going to happen prior to this. Better start using your vacation time and sick time people. Doomsday is coming. The enrollment numbers for July are really bad. They are laughable at best. None of the promos have worked and the people are dropping like flies.

@HObmbgw-3yjq, these are not "disgruntled employees" that are talking to the feds.

There is pressure to perform. These liars think these comments attempting to protect this sh!thole are going to buy them another month, wake up folks. Management is not your friends.

If you had that data, you'd have already sent it to the DoE. You haven't because it doesn't exist. Give it a rest, would you? Better yet, try to get a job again. Once you have a job, you'll give meaning to your life.

Camden, what you speak of was so 4 or 5 years ago. There is no pressure anymore. Yes, there are expectations for employees to try to hit, so if they dont, that should be documented. But several people meet their monthly expectations ethically, without any pressure. Keep making up news and or listening to the less than 1% of disgruntled employees. Truth be told, the bird has cleaned up its act, since the acts of years back.

HObmbgw-3gae, the digital trail is there. I've seen it. And it's coming from multiple sources. Now let's see what happens when they fire the people with the most ethics. For those people who do have some integrity, don't let them pressure you into quitting. And document any harassment you get for not making numbers.

Exactly, Camden, there is a trail. If you haven't found any of the evidence you so desperately want, it might be because it doesn't exist. EAs aren't pressuring anybody to enroll, poor people or not.

@HObmbgw-3gae, you can try to muddy the waters, but there is a digital trail.

Cumdump has been trolling these sites for 3 years spreading gossip and BS. Cumdump is an out of work part time community college instructor that worships Hussein Obama and is hoping for the failure of all career schools. He thinks if the career schools go under he can get hired back as a part time community college instructor. Meanwhile he spends all his time trolling layoff blogs and watching porn from the confines of his mommies basement.

Camden is exactly like a Hillary Clinton Barack Obama drone. He speaks the same talking points with no understanding of the as they are whatsoever. A complete and utter moron. No amount of truth will change his distorted and disgusting mindset.

Camden,

You should just stop wasting your time beating the same issue to death. The EAs aren't asked to pressure people who don't want to go to school. Students call the University, or otherwise request to be contacted for admission. It isn't the other way around. BTW, EAs aren't enrolling that many people because the brand is damaged goods now.

@HObmbgw-2kia, what do you mean by "pieces of crap"? How about experienced and ethical EAs who are not making numbers because their leads are poor? How long can signing up people who will be hurt by debt work in the long run? If a person says they really cannot afford to go, are EAs pressed to try to lower the resistance?

Enrollment has actually been steadily increasing, albeit still very low. But month over month has been better. Courses are 85% full, which is an all time high, and the withdraw rate is decreasing. The way I look at it, sometimes less is more. Get rid of half the pieces of crap, hopefully retain some decent staff in all areas, and this thing just may float. Managers dont get any daily reports of value, so most of the crap on this site and this post in particular are garbage.

Yea it is really bad but we all see it coming. What is being left is an IT solution that is to big for the few students we have. Sure they have to cut. But the question what will the new owners want to do with it and how fast. Everyone, staff and Students need to look somewhere else. The papers should warn students and enlighten then to quit now and pickup somewhere else.
