EA Compensation, Mishandling Vets

@GotTheTshirt, please email me, even if it's anonymously. What I am looking for is firings and compensation based on the number of people signed up--which is against DoED rules. Some EAs are stepping forward but it looks like UOPX does a good job of not directly linking the sign ups to benefits or firings.

I'm also looking for information about any exploitation of student SERVICE MEMBERS and VETERANS. Apparently there are people sending complaints to various federal and state agencies but the agencies may not be talking...............................................https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/veterans-most-hated-us-colleges-dahn-shaulis?trk=mp-author-card

Camden. UOP supposedly already got chastised for giving 'bonuses' to enrollment reps based on quotas for enrolling and getting bonuses for higher enrollment numbers..it is assumed that UOP then revamped their compensation system..most Finance advisors probably never got more than around 50K a year and there were enrollment advisors making around 120 k per year or more.... so instead of getting bonuses for increased enrollment numbers they just got a much higher salary which was related to their so called ' performance'. a finance advisor realize would be servicing the higher numbers of enrolled students but would not be compensated for the higher numbers the same way an enrollment representative was getting compensated. there would have to be some kind of federal investigation to go in and to actually look at the difference in compensation 4 performance that was paid to different advisors that we're supporting the same large amount of students with the only difference being they were in different departments. so many of the external agencies would see some of these investigations as being an incredible task to take on. there was some hope late last year when UOP was put on probation by the Department of Defense but so many EEOC complaints on these matters are often settled to prevent them from going public so it's hard to say if filing complaints really does any good. anybody investigating UOP would have to take on a huge task and really dig into their records and do some comparisons. I would be confident that if they really did their due diligence in an investigation and if the records on file with UOP still exist or are made available in an investigation they could see who was paid more based on many categories like gender difference or advisors in enrollment getting paid based on the number of people enrolled vs performance...compare the salaries of enrollment advisors to those of Finance advisors who are servicing the same number of students. not sure what external agency you could get that would take the complaints seriously and be willing to do the amount of work required to expose UOP' s full compensation practices. they generally changed their compensation Matrix every two years to keep things interesting. it was like when they created a matrix and when people started excelling within that Matrix and became eligible for raises it was time for them to change the Matrix so they didn't have to give raises earned within that matrix. They even set up one compensation policy which had two paths...when you get the maximum you can get as a finance advisor or you had to become a manager to get more pay...obviously there are only so many manager positions open..so once you max out as FA no more raises unless you want to be manager or if there is even an opening...BS you could go years without a raise as an FA.. This was forcing a path to management. .but enrollment got raises based on just enrolling more students. That's why so many enrollment reps had to go ( much higher salarie s)... bigger budget cuts and they weren't enrolling enough students to justify their salaries.. they could eliminate higher salaries and hire new reps at lower pay. They will do same with reps in all departments. ..hire new reps at lower pay..get rid of current reps even if there are no valid performance issues.. they will make up stuff to reach their ' goals,'. Npt sure if any external agencies will do the right thing to reveal the dirt that is UOP. they certainly know how many complaints are coming from UOP and how many are being settled to keep them from going public. number of complaints alone should be an area of concern even if they never go public. Big mess.

Camden, you are so close to finding out the truth . These Nay sayers are so nuts to think UOPX does nothing wrong. My advise is send a complaint to each and every agency you can so that they conduct investigations and don't hurt anymore people.

People don't generally pay $20,000 for community college. People go there because it's a cheaper way to earn the first two years of schooling for a bachelor's degree or they enroll in a program that doesn't require a 4 year degree. Now the people who start a state university and don't complete their programs, they're probably $20,000+ in debt.

Cumdump trolls all the for-profit layoff boards looking for inside information. This goes back years. Cumdump was terminated from the community colleges and blames it on the for-profits. As you can see by his posting on these sites every day he has nothing else to do. Cumdump is nothing but another scumbag troller.

I could not agree more Camden Kid doesn't get that HE is a joke. His "approach" is hilarious to helping people. Does he realize that MOST of our students come from local Community Colleges (the very same he claims to "teach" for) with $20k plus in debt before they come to us with NO DEGREE and have used up their lifetime PELL limit? But...I see no message board bringing up that topic? I don't see him swinging at the Community Colleges, they are more of a problem than for profit schools right now. Hey Camden...ask me what an unusual enrollment C-Code is. Oh, that's when a student attends multiple schools, gets Federal Funds, pockets the money and never earns credits! Guess where the student usually attended? That's right your beloved "employer"! Mike drop! Namaste!

Dear Camden,

Someone on an anonymous message board (that you keep misusing for purposes other than what it's intended - LAYOFFS) insults you and you assume they speak for the entire company.

And you whine that your inability to find the widespread abuse you are so sure is there is just a sign that the company is hiding it really well, rather than the possibility that you are wrong.

The fact that so many people seem to dislike you on here could be evidence that you are getting too close to uncovering the "truth"... Or it could just be that you are a pompous a--hole that is incapable of recognizing that this is not the forum for your constant whining. Could go either way, so I'm not judging.

@HMPkZQH-zib, if your sexist (and anti-veteran) comments are indicative of what happens at University of Phoenix, the school faces enormous and perhaps insurmountable challenges.

What's possibly worse is that so many people at University of Phoenix are complicit in the wholesale deception of vulnerable people--at this point, even teachers are complicit.

Yes, I do realize that the predatory business model has infected nonprofit and public schools, but many for-profit colleges are the most exploitative.
