I am not a troll. I am serious about my question. Much to everyone's surprise, not everyone who will be let go will receive a severance package. Some folks are being targeted by back stabbing managers for termination without the severance package. There are people on this site that need legal help. Please provide positive feedback. Thanks!

Pathetic bait, HR. Absolutely pathetic. Go back to what you know best, and are best at.
Call Dezz in the Houston area
OP, please explain the circumstances you claim for people being let go without a severance. The only reason I can imagine is "for cause". An employee can be fired for insubordination or threatening another employee, including theft or malicious behavior, destroying company property, even deleting important files. Those are valid reasons for being terminated without a severance. Depending on the severity, these may be grounds for losing your pension as well. However, OP, unless you cite examples for what you claim, I will dismiss your post as only trying to incite anger. I doubt very much there will any case in which Chevron lays off an employee without severance or the loss of their pension, unless terminated for a valid cause.
Listen to poster "eys". Es verdad.
Better call Saul.
@GjJSTPO-xfj, You may think about using that search engine that @GjJSTPO-shc creates also, as it's obvious that you are one of the "soon to be cut" and are suffering from some Serious Butthurt !!!! LMAO!
If you are an at-will employee without a contract you are going to spend a ton, lose 2-3 years or more of your life doing and then lose. Spend your time looking for a better job, not blackballing yourself from future employers.
Hey @GjJSTPO-shc
By any chance are you the bastard son of Donny Chump?
@GjJSTPO-xnq SWEET!!! I may start such an engine. But I will only allow loser deadwood who deserved to be fired because they did nothing to deserve their position and pay in the first place to use the search engine. It will be called "Deadwood Anonymous". The engine will only send them to the unemployment office and job search sites, like the losers should be at anyway.
Wouldn't it be amazing if a company invented a search engine that let you enter in queries like "employment lawyer in Houston?" I think if that ever happens, the company should name it Google and open it up to the entire internet so that it returns results from way more sources than just the people who happen to be on a single internet layoff board talking about one specific company. Now that would be something!
