Got job offer in qualcomm in hardware application team @ bangalore.
Any body who can comment on culture/people in this team ?? Glassdoor doesn't provide review for specific team. Reading through post looks like qc is not good option now ! Any serious comments pls.
Join if you can showcase you are intellegent, hardworker, smart even u r not. Join if u can add value in call by saying nonsense.
Systems team sucks....poor leadership ....dirty politics....avoid!
US team is very good, no idea about bdc.

The best group in Qualcomm. By all means join them.
As others statement it will hurt your resume. Basically the little you do learn will not be helpful anywhere else. So make sure your salary reflects that. And focus on finding your own source of income.
People with Qualcomm on their resume are tainted. Industry knows that Qualcomm just buys and repackages IP. Engineers titles are over inflated and skills are lacking.
As such in qcom , percentage of back stabbers is more compared to other companies. So be ready to be part of politics, asslicking business. In few years you will realize you have learnt nothing in qcom and have become useless to get job outside easily.
