@4mwt, Nope. Not in my case. My W2 is reporting the correct amount of income for my annuity payments. It does not include the duplicate payments. Good thing I chose not to have Federal taxes withheld from my monthly payments. I'm socking away the excess and not spending it.

I was left standing last year and I'm over 55. Chevron caught me by surprise but it's not all too bad. My ESIP 401k balance stays untouched at $1.3 million. I am completely debt free and live in a comfortable home. You know there is something called Karma, and Karma is what this company is paying back now. I chose to take my pension as a joint life annuity for almost $4800 per month. Yet this stupid company has been direct depositing exactly double that amount every month for the last 10 months. No one checks up on these things? I have no intention of telling them anything. The extra amount is automatically transferred to a separate account and will sit there until someone comes asking for it back. When and if that time comes, I will make them jump through a few hoops first. My attorney loves to stick it to corporate businesses. It's his bread and butter.

I know that it's sad that you cannot live the parasitic entitled lifestyle off of the corporate teat for much longer, but there are others who have a life and will support your useless liberal parasitic lifestyle. During lunch, I went up and talked to my dad (Drilling team leader) and my brother (FE) about what they thought, then my mom (HR) joined us, and we agree, this company is in bad shape. I think we are going to try and move the family to Shell, they seem to be in better shape, but only if my uncle (Contractor) is good with it.
