@rod, I am available day or night to give you a hug, or wipe your nose, or change your diaper as I too have been ROM'd. Instead of trolling you should probably do some laundry, open the windows on your place, just something useful. I come to this site for a daily laugh and usually someone comes up with something snarky that makes me giggle and forget about the rat race that was Louisiana St. You don't make it fun anymore with your hateful stuff. Move on as we all have.

I agree with you @kmy. The guy who constantly posts the term "Dead Wood" all over this site is a real loser and is a loner as well. He finds solace in following the site at all hours, day and week and month after another. Rather than contributing a coherant opinion, he lashes out to feel better. This kind of personality is exemplified in classic psychology text books, the ones you learn about in Psychology 101. He is a pitiful person that feels lost and has very little self value. My message to him is to forget about the past, man. Refrain from reading and posting on this site. The road to betterment is admitting your failures and making the best attempt to start a new life working in another company where you can make new friends.
I think this "deadwood" guy is retired and had serious illusions of grandeur. He thinks that somehow he owns the company and everyone owes him something. The fact is that the company is in such serious trouble due to the crappy job he and his fellow good Ole boys did in the past.

We also need to be reminding dead wood posters of the fantastic job and examples that Chevron has done on Bigfoot, Gorgon, Wheatstone, Angola, GOM, Pro+, CPL pipeline fatalities, Angola, AMBU and all the other stellar examples of supposedly 'non' dead wood employees and their achievements.
We also hope to be handing you your walking papers to help you along the way with all the other Dead Wood that needs to be cut.

Bonus is in the bag, but crashing oil prices will result in deeper cuts in the upcoming layoffs.
All bonus money has already been set aside by Chevron and the BU's. No worries, as everyone will get their bonus on March 7.
