Guys count it lucky that you get anything most people working or did work did not get anything. It has always been that way and I've been around a long time (1976).
I signed the day of the layoff and have been issued three deposits:
-
Standard payroll
-
Additional three days worked week of layoff PLUS my remaining PTO hours.
-
Severance, arrived Saturday.
Total turnaround time less than two weeks. CAUTION: there was a large error in the accounting, which they corrected immediately and without complaint but mind your paystubs, friends.
@FSDZvzt-4qnp Those are very good news, it means it's process as stated within 14 days.
I signed the agreement and left it with them the day of layoffs. My severance is pending in my account as of Friday for Tuesday (since Monday is a holiday) got my "paystub" saturday which is what prompted me to look
Processing the severance and paying it takes about 14-21 days. Once you have submitted your papers and returned all devices, SD will hold for the seven day revocation + about 14-21 days to process your payment depending on your pay term (exempt / hourly etc).
The 16th of February or March?
Talked to HR and they notified me I will receive my severance the 16th
if you have signed your papers and returned all hardware you are in a good state. The lump sum is a great option, however bankruptcy can stop payment. All you can do is pray and hope.
Along with your regular paycheck you received an accelerated payment of the three days worked last week along with any unused PTO. Your lump-sum severance will come in four to six weeks.
What was severance?
If they file bankruptcy in the meanwhile, we could very well get nothing.
@FSDZvzt-kgu, you got your paycheck catchup, Scott Griffin mentioned accelerating payment.
Within 60 days from the day you signed your docs and returned them. It says so in the release document.
Update: I read that wrong. I only got 2 weeks of my severance (not a full months even). Where's the lump sum?
I appear to have received my regular paycheck today (for work I did), and then 1/3rd of my severance. They stated they were giving a lump sum. Anyone else get this?
