Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

More Claims changes down the pipeline?

So far... The only big changes were the More to the Floor and dept mgrs doing their own disposals and Cvp. Im hearing that Walmart.com claims are going to be eliminated from Claims responsibility... Meaning that Claims no longer are the ones processing Walmart.com claims to the return center. Has anyone seen /heard of anything like that?

The "change" on DOTCOM is actually incorrect. Claims is still responsible.

After giving it some serious thought, my guess is that .com will no longer be returnable to .com & the stores will just have to sell it. If not sellable then markdown & take the loss.

I have read where claims will no longer take care of .com returns, my ? is who will. That wasn't addressed on the wire.

Careful what you wish for. One less reason to need you.

From what I'm hearing.. One best way updated recently with these changes. I have to see this for myself. There is a section with the updates and it says claims isn't responsible for doing Walmart. Com claims, non merchandise mtrs, etc.

This needs to happen asap! We have lost hours in claims but .com returns have increased several 100%. It erases any time saved with the simplifications.

Haven't heard of that yet but who knows because unless I see it on wire my management doesn't keep us informed of much.
