so it appears that feb 13th is earnings because there will be a town hall about last quarter's results. Will there be also announcement of voluntary buyouts and more head cuts? they still have over 1.6 billion dollars allocated for restructuring as they call it

Outsourcing is going to hit hard. First HR then......?
Quaker facility cafeteria moving to KO? C’mon - name the facility or it didn’t happen.
It just means that Coke gave them a better deal. The cafeteria is run by an independent entity, they don't give AF.
I'm at a Quaker Plant...the cafeteria just switched it's contract to a Coke pour. Any idea what this means?
waiting to see if I will still.have a job at end of february.
Chief Technology Office and Chief Information Officer
What is CTO and CIO
I suspect the new CIO is going to be making changes... but if nothing lands in February then maybe we are clear for now?
But rumors are starting to circulate about CTO and more layoffs as roles are moved to India...
2/24 is completely normal..I am a manager and same week every year..we have a week to complete reviews prior to merits/bonus for bonus eligible visible in pay check.
2/21 sounds like a rumor. Is that speculation because of the HR email? Can you sign before 2/24? Anyone have clarity?
I herd rumor of 2/21 for plano. HR email latst week said not to schedule performance reviews until 2/24. For what that’s worth.
Consistent to what is happening down here mates.
Cheers
I apologize that it seems like I am only repeating what’s been said by a lot.
Same story, I have been waiting for a role to be posted as well. When I asked the hiring manager she originally told me it’ll be posted next week. This was 5 weeks ago. Then she told me it should be up today. I asked her two weeks ago she said she wasn’t sure what was going on. On Friday I saw her when we were both getting coffee and she gritted her teeth and shrugged like she had no idea WTF was going on. She was extremely empathetic, concerned and frustrated. If it looks like a rat and it eats cheese it’s definitely not a peacok.
Same story on the coast. We have a few open roles where I’m at and our boss doesn’t know what to say because she interviewed and decided on two candidates and she is literally just playing fire fighter as she waits to be able to extend an offer. I glanced at her phone on a route ride and it looked like her personal email was filled with employee notifications and recruiter emails. Over under on another one biting the dust is 6 weeks :-)
It’s obvious to me the managers below VPs don’t have a clue about what changes are coming and coming soon. Most appear to be trying hard to run the business and do what’s right for there team but none are empowered or have the resources to make changes.
Act like an owner and if you mess up you will be fired and you can’t spend any money.
It means there are sweeping changes coming to the broader organization. HR probably doesn’t know exactly what roles will be affected yet, but they will need homes for people to move into when they eliminate 3-5% of all jobs during another massive reorganization across all functions.
Buckle up Kiddos - my bosses, bosses, bosses bosses boss just left to go run a franchise and he was the head of PES. He left the same week the commercialization email said many jobs will be moving to India.
What could this mean
“ on friday a manager shared that he was told not to fill an open spot till end of february”
I’ve heard that as well. I asked a woman who runs my building and she said the posting should be going up soon. This was a month ago. The job still isn’t posted and she let it slip that hr was still waiting approval. Mind you, this is a role that manages like 10-15 frontline direct reports so it’s somewhat critical as roles go. I feel like something is brewing.

They got me on my walk into work today. 6 millennials making 36,000 per year jumped out of a bush wearing tight skater jeans and flip flops and they handed me my million dollar severance package high fiving each other how they each get to replace an LG5 and they will now be l06s. The future is bright for this new group of lazy, underpaid, do nothings that are going to be tasked with a 10X workload, not do any of it and quit.
you mean a Pepsi bath
To the guy saying only layoffs are being posted on this site... is the site we should be talking about the transformation jobs they added? Or the drivers that were added?
It’s a freaking open forum lay-off site, chump
For the past 2 years all that has been posted here are grim reaper productions. The cuts are no where near as bad as people predict them to be. This is all bunk.
