So first they were in a hell of a hurry to take over all of our work, "we are ready" they said, " we have had people training for months" they said, "how hard can it be" they said, well what do you know, they are now looking for volunteers to go to India or Guatemala to train because they #1 realize they are in way over their heads, #2 they are F'ing up everything, #3 are desperate
*DO NOT VOLUNTEER
They are taking our jobs, don't feel sorry for them, I don't, I have already had to say goodbye to 6 people I worked with for years, Karma is a b–ch Xerox and HCL

Nope. Some of us that helped the transition of work from Lewisville to Guatemala are still there, but will be gone by June 2020. That's what we were told on Dec 6th. Six people got their notices that same week and more to come until everyone is gone except the handful that support restricted accounts....and I suspect they'll find a way to offshore those as well.... just like they did the military accounts that aren't supposed to be worked offshore..yet they moved them anyway.
I am off to Guatemala to train. I have my mankini ready baby.
As someone that already spent a month in india training I can tell you it was anything but fun. Had the same mindset of free trip for some sightseeing before I'm shown the door. Worst travel I ever had and there was nothing to see.
Have fun sitting in economy for 20 hours
@gud, I challenge you to do my job, I will pay you my entire years salary if you could sit in my chair and manage what I do
@1jml are you crazy? If you call going to a third world country where your safety is not guaranteed and you will have to get shots for disease reasons a "fun" thing to do then I feel bad for you.
Maybe it’s just me, but a vacation to Guatemala or India at the company’s expense sounds like fun. Put in your 8 hours a day & Spend some time sightseeing. You’re going to get laid off either way so what’s the difference?
I’ll help! $300 an hour, 2,000 hours payable up front.
SLOW. WALK. EVERYTHING.
Even the smallest requests that could be answered in 15 minutes.
Gum up the system. Put sand in the gears.
You overly complicate and value your job. They're shipping $12-20 hr jobs that Gis/xbs didn't even do all that well to begin with. Hence, MIF transfer... We could only get the smb customers that could tolerate us. Stop your whining and move on.
Plead the 5th. Let Johnny vas---ne figure it out.....
Do not offer to help. Everyone that helped transition the Lewisville center to Guatemala is GONE.
So let them figure it out on their own.
