COM, XBS core of Xerox - Accounts Payable received 2 week notice. Hope HCL picks up the pace to enter & RESOLVE invoice issues
The training, audits, obscene workloads, skypes, conf calls, unresponsive ways from HCL shows that Americans not lazy after all. Have to admit it's a private victory seeing the customers get hot, threaten to leave or flat out leave. What was first instinct to fix is a now shrug of the shoulders with primary focus and concern of anything but Xerox. What's done is done and for once in my career it's kind of nice to have the Peter Gibbons attitude at work. Tick-Tock guess who Apu
Dumpster Fire
Leadership is clueless, forcing agendas without any foreknowledge of the outcome. Sales are tanking. Loss of experienced personal, by design. Why have a tenured experienced competent employee when you can get an a know nothing mo–n for cheap.
Training my replacement is a form of torture!!! I am doing 3 times the work for the same pay, I am actively looking but am not going to settle as I will NEVER work for corporate America again!!!!!!
Xerox should be fined $100,000 for every job they sent overseas, they s—!!!!
A living f-g nightmare. So inhuman. Train your replacement to go back overseas to train others and then audit them. I don't wish this on my worst enemy! Being an older employee has been hard securing other employment during this transition. I WOULD RATHER HAVE ALL MY TEETH PULLED OUT WITHOUT NOVOCAINE THEN EXPERIENCE WHAT HCL HAS PUT ME THROUGH AND MY CO-WORKERS.
@211m there is no more global....who cares where she goes or anyone else for that matter I’m running for the fences just like everyone from the top down to the janitors should be
Calling HCL replacements stupid is an insult to stupid people. They have 5 people in India doing one person’s Job here in the MW and they can’t handle it. But great job saving the few grand by outsourcing the American job a-holes
@1jkv. what do you mean back to florida? to global?
@1nvd
We sympathize and feel your pain, yup they tell the higher ups they are doing great when we too are doing all the work, I am so behind because I spend all my time checking their work, they s—!!
However, I was on a call with the head HCL people and they got the real truth of what is happening, Xerox well aware too that HCL can't handle the work, it's kind of comical when you think of it, with us they were paying two of us, now they're paying us and 4 hcl guatemalans and work not getting done
Not XBS but understand what you are feeling. We are seeing all the same things. They have already documented the process and received training but has been a big fail. They cant keep up with any of the work so we have to keep doing it. Then half the stuff they can't understand so have to send to us to do. The work they actually do is wrong 50 percent of the time so everytime they do something we have to check it and fix it. Then have to go back and audit all their work so we are basically still just doing it all.
They also dont use any of the processes. When they don't know something we tell them follow steps 1-10 but they dont. We believe it's likely due to language barrier. During training there was a big gap in language and they struggle quite a bit with being able to read an email and respond. So then we have to write their emails for them too.
So you spend all day trying to do your own work, fix theirs and then answer all their questions which everyone is frustrated answering because we cant understand what they are asking us in the first place.
Then the most frustrating part is they spend all day making up reports and charts to show Xerox about how great they are doing, percent of work they did and how there were no errors but dont mention that we had to do the work for them and corrected all their errors. Not to mention their charts and numbers are not even accurate because they dont understand what they are reporting on.
Confident I'll be able to retire before the transition is complete.
We are just beginning to train our replacements. We recieved notice last day January 27. After reading other posts, not sure if I should count on that.
@1kjn
They were at our core this summer, we have been transitioning work for 13 weeks, it is pure hell, be prepared for checking and rechecking and rechecking and correcting all their errors, we've mostly been given 6 month extensions because transition not going to plan, story at every core, talk about sending a core down the sh–ter!
Just Peachy
We have HCL on site. There is still uncertainty about when our jobs will be done, but we think we’re getting our notice around January.
Core this, core that - get over it!
No significant changes that impact day to day life.
It's going as well I predicted it would and I am not meaning that in a good way!
We are frustrated, sick of training and so over HCL and their team
It’s not going well. We are crumbling.
