Four days remaining in the month. Another rumor with no merit.

@qjek nothing to see here. It was a public announcement. The company is trying to use up capacity in non-hub locations instead of paying TMs to sit around without direct reports and being shuffled from one temp assignment to another.

Something is coming soon — managers in our former OC are posting for jobs in the hubs. It’s been almost 3 years since the last list of closing offices.

Here’s an idea. Let’s wait and see if there’s an actual announcement in January.

SF does not own Hub buildings-they just lease space. Valuable location zero problem finding tenants.

one hub is still being built....atlanta. der will be 8000+ employees there. where are they gonna get them?

hire them? close the other locations? it won't be the first option.

Not happening. And I don’t have to rely on any sources. If you are waiting on severance that ship has sailed. The pendulum swung from reasons to consolidate to now not consolidate further.

Hearing from reliable sources that several specific offices have been listed and shared with leadership as being next up for closure. Not just speculation. It has been almost three years since the last batch

This rumor is in the same category as the pension is being discontinued and the CEO fired. Fun to gossip about but none of those 3 rumors are true. There is a reason they are not closing the remaining offices now, and yes that is a change from several years ago. Think people.

OP, What are the other four offices that you heard about? You only listed three of seven. In my office in a different part of the country we are hearing rumors that we may be on the next list. Attrition is eating away at our staffing at an unbelievable rate.

All of the offices will be closed eventually, except the hubs, whether it’s 2020 or the next year or the one after. Anyone who believes otherwise is in fantasyland.

The only part that has been shared with us so far is that those seven offices are expected to have excess numbers of managers. Managers in those offices are encouraged to begin posting for openings in the hubs. It’s not much of a stretch to imagine that the reason there will be excess managers will be because we won’t be replacing workers who leave. With the high turnover among non management folks, it won’t take long before the office closure announcement will come. Unfortunately my office was not on the list.

No truth to this. Just idle gossip/speculation.
