Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

MST program

I’ve been trying to post this today but it never shows up. MST program has a few overnights coming up. Paint and electrical. Do t forget in 3 months patio will be set. If we did TAT at night so will PAtio. Has anyone heard anything about the possibly change in the MSS position?

96% sure the MSS position is changing. Do not know in what way, but it will.

Would the whole team go to overnights or just resets? Would MSM be days over service? Basically like Home Depot. I know one thing. Anything I order now goes to store manager for approval? Where it use to be over $500 it needed my MSS approval and that’s it

No talk of layoffs. Role changes and bet your a– this is the first phase to going overnights. Mss will basically go into a holding period until it rollouts. Like calm before da storm...

More like another round of layoffs come January, right after the holidays and before the new fiscal year.

Corporate has “compassion” and never does a round of layoffs before Christmas and the New Year, they allow you to enjoy the holiday season. Meanwhile, you're spending time and money on your loved ones; unbeknownst to you you’ll be out of a job in a matter of weeks.

great...ill be able to ride sled all winter and then gonback to work in the spring...sounds awesome....this is a joke now....they could care less about this program or anyone in it....it is all about cost of payroll....I hope they do go overnights and then give me my severance cause I am out. none of this needs to be done at night....we cant do half of it anyway because we never have what we need

So if MSS changes. The msm would report to the DMSM. Would msm stay days or go nights? Or would MSM be days and MSS go nights if resets go nights

Mss job to change drastically sooner rather then later. Expect too see some changes in roles and job descriptions soon.

What about MSM? There is already 2 overnight managers. Would MSM be over service during the day

I could see it be like Depot. Resets at night. Service during day. Not as many pod managers.
