Colorado still has a Sears open in Aurora. This is the last full line Sears in the Denver area. The store in Thornton is a Grand store, which amazingly is still open. It's 20 miles outside of town on a former cow pasture so maybe the rent is cheap or the land isn't valuable enough to sell. The store in Fort Collins is a small appliance store. The full line store there closed several years ago.

Nope. The tukwila store is still open, I drive by it nearly every day. Last shopped in the store in August

@bsr @fmu One of the reasons California has so many stores is because of distribution. All of Sears footwear is distributed nationwide by one distribution center in Southern California. The majority of Sears merchandise is initially distributed nationwide by distribution centers in California. This was pointed out and discussed on Pebble a few months ago by corporate in HE. Are they going to close some Sears stores in California? Of course they are.

Heard from an associate who works at the Ft Lauderdale store that they are closing in December. Not sure if it's been announced publicly yet.

Hawaii only has three stores left and Appleton wi closed a long time ago

Sears has no more Kmart stores in Hawaii — the last one, on Kauai, closed last year — but does still have three other mall-anchor stores in Hawaii — at Pearlridge Center in Aiea, which is owned by Washington Prime Group; at Queen Kaahumanu Center on Maui, owned by The Seligman Group in Michigan; and at Prince Kuhio Plaza in Hilo on the Big Island, which is owned by Brookfield Properties Retail Group.

Wait until October. A few of those stores will be on the next hit list. Courtesy of the failing Transformco disaster.

There's only one FL Sears left in Wisconsin. The one in Appleton closed early this year amid SHC bankruptcy closings. Only Madison remains.

Dude, that is amazing! Thank you very much, great job! Wow, CA still has 40? I see some major trimming coming! FL, TX, could probably both be mashed down a bit too. Thank again!

I'd imagine California would be one to lose some stores it is way over represented despite the high population.
