Statistics: Kmart absent in 31 states. 10 states, CO, IL, MI, MN, MT, NH, ND, NV, TX, WA, have only 1 each. So does Guam. 9 states have more than 1 left.
48 Kmarts in US States total. Puerto Rico has 7, USVI has 4, Guam has 1, so 12 total stores outside of the US. 60 total Kmarts left as of now that are not closed or closing.

This list is far complete. What's out in public is not what's known in the halls of HE. It doesn't even match what's been communicated in conference call. Leases and legal are working at haste. There will be more coming, and soon.

People, people, my list was of the 60 KMARTS NOT CLOSING. You don't need to keep posting locations of closing stores in this thread. I KNOW which ones are closing. This thread is about the 60 Kmart stores NOT yet closed or closing. It isn't that difficult to comprehend, sheesh. The stores I listed were the ones that are NOT yet closed or closing.

@1pf1 I Know Minot is still open. That's why I left it on my list of STILL OPEN Kmarts. My list is the stores NOT yet closed or closing.

I believe Minot, ND is still open

ESL and his hedge fund are an even worse version of sleazy private equity. He is predator lying low in between store closures and definitely gets a thrill out of it. ESL does not have to deal with crazy shoppers or people that overdose in the Kmart bathroom.
