When I started at lowes beginning of last year it was a busy place. Lots of of customers. Staffed well all the time. Now you go in there it's a ghost town. No customers. Your lucky to see 1 or 2 employees. The store looks horrible. Empty shelves, it's just a mess. MST program is a joke. They goof off for 8 hours and go home. The vendors will wise up to this soon and cut off all the money there spending on a failed business venture with a failing company. Marv needs to go or Lowes as a company will.

What product these days isn't made in China, or Taiwan, or Vietnam? And housewives? Why should we not set it up so that anyone can walk in, get what they need, and give the store their money?
I don't see how your complaints are really the most important issues going on right now.
Lowes has really gone down hill in the past few years. The tool and hardware selection is horrible, it is for housewifes, not for professionals. Lowes has drifted towards a home decorating store. It is stocked with cheap disposable quality Chinese products. The product quality reminds me of what happened to Sears and JC Penny's. Thankfully there are much better options. I give Lowes a few more years before it meets their demise.
I will say this with 100% honesty if it wasn't for our MST team our store Would look like a trash heap. These guys are the unsung heroes of lows truly in our central Florida stores
My job was eliminated in Jan by Marvin. The only position available in my store was the MST. I am not sure what your MST's do but we are timed on all tasks we do. From the minute we get to work till its time to go home we are building, servicing, cleaning, downstocking etc. I go home absolutely filthy everyday. I go up and down a ladder probably 100+ times a day. Maybe your store is neat and organized mine is a mess because we only have 1 associate in a dept per shift. Not only do we do all the above we also take care of the customers. We have to service 1 1/2 bays per hour. Which means - cleaning, beams or painting beams, printing new labels, taking the product out of the bottom shelf to clean under product and flue spaces cleaned, resetting bays according to planogram, bin locate again because someone decides to throw something in the bay, downstocking and organizing the overhead. So if your MST is not working this hard then there is a problem with their supervisor. We are always being thanked by the associates and dept managers for helping them.
