Does anyone know the cuts there will be at the o&m level?

The old axiom, “the closer you are to the wellhead, the safer your job” prevails in the oil and gas business. Sure, there will be some cuts to personnel at the field level, but nothing close the redundant or useless positions back at the office.

@zoy, Yes indeed, you are 100% correct. A robot would be much more efficient than you. You know yourself well. Couldn't agree more.

Even a robot will be better than those m0r0ns at Chevron :) I bet you money that Alexa can actually run the IT function and transform them digitally :)

Yes. They will be cutting roughly 95%. They are replacing the ones cut with robots. I have seen some of the prototypes and they are quite impressive to watch!
