@zds My director said if we applied for the lead position (and received it) we would keep our pay
I was told supervisors now have to apply and interview to become a warehouse lead (which is wild) but “management” says the pay will stay the same, is that true?
I was Retail Selling Floor Lead & the pofition was done away along w/Sales Supervisors. Got severance.
If you were a supervisor, that’s an hourly executive position. Going to a regular FT is not comparable to a supervisor position. You are eligible for severance. How long have you been with the company? If only 2 years, the severance isn’t worth it. You should always asks these type of questions when having these conversations with your boss.
My supervisor position was eliminated and came with a pay reduction to a lesser role.
Lead titles were dropped but no impact in pay or hours. Not sure why the title was dropped but as long as everything is the same who cares about a title?
You needed to have been told this when you were offered the demotion so you could decide whether to rake it or get your severance. Surely you didn't accept this position without getting the facts?
Thank you
If your title changed so will your salary that's the main reason .
