I've never tried before, what needs to be done? I am at the end of my rope.

@zq I bet you road rage a lot and kick your pets and drink Budweiser.
Looks like even the Mental Health Troll is getting tired of his own constant whining, and needs to take a day off from trolling.
@z9 100% I have written more development white papers while being more onsite than you. are you brave enough to meet up face to face if you're in oregon? I promise it'll be cordial little boy :)
@z9 Are you going through a divorce or something?
@y7 Is making excuses for why you can’t do any work the only thing Intel employees are capable of? This company is burning down because everyone is always finding an excuse for why they can’t work. The reality is that you probably work closer to 4 hours a week and di-k off for the rest of the time.
@xd oh you're a "real man" huh? 100% you'd be too scared to say this to anyone in person hahahah stop acting tough online and go get actual friends
@xt Do you not have enough time in your day to both work and care for your body? You have one life man, I'd advise becoming more efficient and caring for your health before it's too late. Work shouldn't take more than 40 hrs a week cutting into your free time unless you're just insanely slow mentally, so no excuse to be fat.
@xh Another lazy ShitTel employee skipping out on work to hang out in the gym
@xd What's your bench press max? Weak people are usually the ones calling others childish names.
😩 I need a mental health day. What the fook is a mental health day. Is it a day where you’re not strong enough to over come road blocks, things disappointing you, things not going your way, someone doesn’t like you or you get stressed out?
Don’t be a snowflake be a real man or woman.
That’s what wrong with America, you have all these weak pu$$ies.
“Mental health days” are exactly the reason that the Taiwanese are eating our lunch. Su-k it up, we---e
I don't believe OP can resolve his mental issues in one day.
@bm Don’t quit, if you quit you won’t get the package.
MLOA won't save your job but if you need it take it. I did, figured out my new plan forward, came back and quit. Best thing I every did for myself.
For the people who will ask why I am here. I still know people who work at Intel and frankly, this is pretty funny. An abusive company going down in flames... too little too late. Good luck!
@a4 This is the answer. You don’t need to get into the details of why you need to be out.
@ab I had a very similar experience a few years back. Some unknown anxiety was creeping up on me for a few months, then one day I just couldn't do it anymore. I told my manager and then shut my laptop. I didn't know if I'd ever be back. I was fortunate that my doc prescribed the right medication on the first try. I was back at work quickly and have been mostly ok ever since, even through all of this.
A couple years ago I hit a wall. Deer in the headlights. I came in one day and said 'I can't do this'.
I just walked out and luckily I was able to get in to see my doctor right away. He prescribed me some depression meds, and said I need to take 4-6 weeks off. I contacted the EAP time off company and got a medical leave of absence approved.
I was very lucky and got it all approved quickly. All I said to my boss was I'm on a MLOA, no other details.
Best thing I ever did.
I don't believe OP is at the end of his rope..yet.
Average Intel IQ
That’s what your PA time is for
Oh great, another post from the Psycho Troll.
I'm not able to check the guidelines on Circuit right now, but I'm fairly certain that you can just use PA for it. Mental health is just as important as physical health, and it should count under your protected absences.
Please don't hesitate to use the EAP to talk to a therapist if you need to.
"hi boss, I'm sick, taking today off, thanks"
Check out boto university. It has instructions on how to use it.
Just take a sick day. Mental health is health too.
