Priority to women

Is it only my observation or have other folks noticed SLTs hiring to many women chief of staffs and providing more workplace benefits such as opportunities, transfers, etc

I am pretty sure the ceo wants to be surrounded with women who talk and there used to be the cto who also wanted to be surrounded with women. I believe it is coming from the ibm culture more than anything else where the more loudly you can talk the more power you had whether there was substance or not. My manager who is about 30 year veteran from ibm pulls of the same thing. Certain times when the discussion becomes technical it is so obvious that he does not understand and pulls out some buzz words. The same was with the ceo when Jim Kelly from ibm cornered ceo and you could see it so obvious that he did not know what to say.

I have team mate in Singapore she never attend call at her night time even if it is at 8pm but she will expect me to attend her calls at 11 pm and Sunday nights which is Monday morning for her.

If same does to women in usa by men in Singapore then D&I will be involved.

I respect women and would like to have more women in work at top level or low level or mid level but make sure work remain same irrespective of whether men or women.

I really want to say women should be paid equal or more than men but make sure work also same like men.

This is not government job whoever not working layoff them and whoever work more pay more

Really need lot of women in top level of management not at entry level.

Work life balance is horrible. Whether it's men or women working hours and working time should be same. Men are discriminated with long working hours

Let's be honest here, most women at GF are treated really really well. I know women who just graduated college with no industrial experience and got hired at MTS and SMTS levels. Also, women get promoted in no time here despite being incompetent. I worked with women here who just come to work to socialize and deliver the minimum without any accountability. They are protected under D&I. It is like a welfare state for women at GF. I worked at other tech companies before and I have never seen this, it is like heaven for women at GF trust me on this.

There are a few obvious names that I know of getting phenomenal treatment. But at the same time there are also couple of guys that I can think of. But at the end there is definitely favoritism until the director. Also benyon wants to surround himself with folks from Singapore

one of the best line managers I had at GF is a woman. Also, GF recalibrated and adjusted people's pay, regardless of gender, a couple of times before D&I was a focus. If GF compared industry data and found women were being underpaid, commensurate with their skills and relative to their peers, and increased their pay as a result then that's a good thing.

It's only some women with significant others in the company in higher positions than them (not same group necessarily). Most women are being treated terribly here
