Google “EM Age Discrimination lawsuit”. The man who currently has a lawsuit is represented by an attorney in Houston who is listed in the article. They are quick to answer. Your MLRP guide even suggests you have an attorney review the waiver. Go get your $$$ worth.

I saw your post a few hours ago on the bus.
I've thought about it and consulted with my associates at my second office downtown.
If you would give just a bit more detail -
age/years of service/gender/ethnicity/CL/dependents/chem exposures -
I do think we should work together. I'm a lawyer.
Most esquires in southeastern part of the state are well aware of how Irving has disguised massive layoffs as 'staff evaluations' or the 3 or 4 other scripted descriptions we've heard of. Most of us that are lawd-up have heard of this and cringed.
Such injustice - so it goes.

But I might be an exception. As not only a counsel and barrister, but also as a thawed neandarthalic caveman with his own obsidian axe to grind. The system.
I've passed the bar on first try in 7 states, including probably yours.

Think about it - anyone out there - and get back with me for teamwork.

@yog Yeah right, since they are partners with XOM, perhaps they will advise to sign right away. Or maybe they will say, "oh no, not for this one - you're on your own!"

No tejan attornio would touch this. Lose a hand for stealing here.

If you are not TX based - plenty of law people might approach it.
Gonna take a federal class-action - probably out of New Jersey or Montana.

Not being down on TX, btw.
Takes a long time for these developing countries to get a grasp of democracy and representation. Caring about others and all.
It's hard when you've had nothing up to now.

As part of XOM benefits you get a free consultation with an attorney for any matter and a discounted rate.

This subject has been hashed out so many times on this board, xom consults attorneys / hr before commencing on any decision of this magnitude (i.e. 8% nsi, pip / pil, etc). You'll be throwing your money away.

I tried to look for good attorneys but they are expensive, at least $500 just to read and advise on the waiver. I signed mine without any.
