Thread regarding Ford layoffs

FLV walks

FLV goes to the police station, writes down details of how he committed felony as--ult, then signs his statement. On July 27: Prosecutors can produce neither the victim (wife) nor a police officer to testify in court.

ney+1nOdqRkL and 2wqc+1nOdqRkL apparently both of you lack morals and are supporters of criminal activity. It is apparent that the criminal justice system has been short circiuted in this case. The wife is seems to be threatened by losing her gravey train and there is something fishy with the police and prosecutors. There are so many cases where domestic violence gets swept under the carpet and next thing someone ends up dead. LVF needs to be fired, he has done damage to the goodwill of the company.

Looking forward to him [ F Louis Victor ] delivering the exciting products and services that are upcoming.
FLV is NOT delivering any products. Cities have rejected his proposals. Partnerships have been broken. Nothing but talk and nothing to show, investors are well aware and continue to downgrade F stock.
FLV is guilty of incompetence, he is a fraud, Farley and Field are frauds. The sooner they are terminated, the sooner Ford can transform. Barra has demonstrated what is possible with GM, Ford should learn from her example.

I wouldn’t work with the guy. He admitted what he did and it’s a matter of record.

Umm, where is the wife? She couldn't be located? Very strange.....is she buried next to Jimmy Hoffa?

@2wqc+1nOdqRkL, that's legally innocent. Based on what he himself said in the statement he voluntarily gave police after deciding on his own to go to the station to make it I'd say that he's not innocent morally. Personally I wouldn't want to work alongside of some like that, and most assuredly wouldn't trust anything involving him if he were in my management chain.

What everyone here in the comments fail to realize is that FLV is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. There will be no court hearing. Therefore, FLV is innocent of whatever bogus charges are thrown against him.

This is why Ford will retain FLV as a top executive and FordNext leader. There is nothing to discipline him for.
Looking forward to him delivering the exciting products and services that are upcoming.

RIP Ford corporate morals and ethics

of course someone called in favors and got paid-off, remember when Elena F got arrested for DUI. This is typical of the unethical nature of the Ford family and the corporation. Add the unwarranted termination of pensioned employees, overlooking the zero tolerance b$ and harassment of females and LGBQ employees and why FoMoCo tops the list of most unethical companies. FLV needs to be terminated and deported. Period. No excuses. He's unhinged and a disgrace. Investors are aware, watch the stock tumble. Sadly, I have a hunch that's exactly what Lawler wants; to repeat the 2008 scenario where the Ford family made obscene money buying the stock at $1/ share then watch it surge to $10 within a year! It's pathetic, the media and our government look the other way as US employees are separated/ terminated and their jobs are offshored to Mexico/ India while 9+ Billion $ " loans " are granted to FoMoCo. Great job Biden! Disgusting. NYTimes/ WSJ, why aren't you reporting that story???!!!! Cowards.

The facts of the FLV incident, and number of law enforcement officers involved, make total dismissal of the case highly unusual.

It doesn’t look like he is walking back into his job at Ford, the felony charges can be refiled and Ford confirmed that he is still on a leave of absence. If he gets convicted, he gets deported. Ford Next can go on a permanent leave of absence, too, and add $3 billion back into our bonus calculation.

@ymu, no kidding! That smells of favors being called in and/or bribes being paid. I have a couple of police officers in my immediate family and not only is it a job requirement to testify in court when necessary, but the departments and courts have mutually ironed out schedules that ensure the officers are able to attend court w/out interfering with other duties or incurring overtime that needs approval.

Funny how with their football team it’s all about the right type of players. The must have values. But apparently they run their car operations differently.

Two-tier policies at ford. There’s one policy for management and there’s another policy for everyone else. Management, friends and family are protected no matter what they do.

If FLV is not fired, it tells you everything you need to know about the character of Ford leadership and the Ford family. All of those Ford “truths” and “values” are lies. But we already knew that. Just more of the Chicago plant ethics.

They tried to serve her but she did not answer. She was at the Hermes store or in the basement applying flame re--rdant to the purses.

Great news for Ford. FLV can get back to re-focusing on FordNext projects to deliver them on future products. Negative people just going to be negative. Ignore them.

I knew this whole ordeal smelled like a set-up.

Sad. He had an affair, attempted to destroy her things, abused her to the point where she needed medical attention and she didn't have the courage to stand up to him.

In the good old days, the court would dispatch an officer to bring the complainant witness to court. Somebody got paid off. Possibly with $10,000 handbags.
