No, This can not be trusted. Like @yku said they do not intend to close stores. What a bunch of bull. My store's stock is so scarce and we were told we will be having very small trucks if any. But they still insist we are not closing and they say we need to bump up customer service all the while being dishonest about what is really being said on the surveys. And why is everything out of stock on belk.com?
February is almost here and it’s a short month of 28 days.. Not much turnaround time friends.
Belk will of course say this to prevent panic amongst the ranks. We know better.....
you have to watch the wording on these statements and be able to read between the lines. For example, they said on Facebook "they do not intend to close stores", well I don't "intend" to get run over by a bus either, but it could happen. How dumb do they think we are?
