Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Reputational crisis?

How severe is the reputational crisis of SF, what do you think? Every company can have its own ups and downs, but I’m afraid SF has had only downs lately.
I think that the reputation of this company has never been worse, and since it is a very important element, I think that the management should finally pay more attention to this problem.

JD Powers released their 2021 rankings 2 days ago. Out of 11 geographic areas SF was #1. In the remaining 8 geographic areas SF ranked 2nd or 3rd in 7 and 5th in California. SF outperformed Geico and Progressive in every geographic area except California. They apparently think Sf’s reputation is excellent.

SF not involved in politics? Really? Look up World Forum on Economics in Davos Rand Harbert. Nah no politics and rubbing elbows there.

I wouldn't recommend anyone I know to work at SF, so there is your answer. The last time I recommend someone to apply to SF was in 2007.

@1pf. Seriously? Are you getting a lot of death threats due to your anonymous comments on an obscure website?

Employees need to ask themselves one question and that will depend on SFs reputation: IS IT AN HONOR TO SERVE SF? If it is NO then SF has a bad reputation.

Back to reputation. If anyone thinks SFs reputation isn't damaged, they haven't been awake. So many things I could say to prove my statement, but I fear retaliation. It's best I stay on my side of the fence for fear of my life. Sad but true.

Thanks for the next business idea partner.

I can only picture someone twice my age fuming on an anon board atm.

Really good you have another careered fall back on, your insurance gig is a bust. Maybe Wally’s tires will hire you if you leave them an Amazon gift card,or one of your genius reviews….

Also there’s plenty of evidence glass door reviews are bots, you can see the 100s of very generic, sociopathic level of creativity used when flooding SF with reviews to raise Tipps approval level.

I’m a programmer also.

@kpe+1bmH196e I think you assume I’m OP, I’m not I get paid to leave good reviews too, in the form of Amazon gift cards.

Of course those kind of reviews are dubious at best. But there are company rating agencies and consumer rating agencies that perform reviews for a living. Not the companies themselves or your buddies. LOL

@dlc+1bmH196e you know how many thing I return on Amazon and don’t leave a review because it’s a waste of time?

You do realize SF asked its own employees to leave reviews on glass door, my old agent even begged for a good review for google.

I have left good reviews for free Amazon gift cards. Lmao

Use common sense fellow google god.

@gcu-you can actually read rating agencies and customer satisfaction surveys if you look them up. Instead you of relying on conversations with a buddy in a stall. I am never disappointed at the stupidity of responses on this site. Thanks for reinforcing.

@bny. Google has the answers? Unplug, get out, and listen to what your leaders are saying without being on the record. I rely more on that than a Google hack. Kinda like the Wuhan Lab with the media eh? Lol

Not sure what you are basing your concern on? Google SF and reputation and it is all pretty positive. Of course the people on this forum have a different view but that is apparently a minority view. And before someone brings it up, consumers don’t give a wit how a company treats their employees.
