You are responsible for the health of you and your family. MS doesn't care, nor does your kid's school. Make decisions accordingly. This is serious.
I agree, but you are wasting time on this board. We have supposed "finance" people discussing variants, long haul, superspreaders, and other such nonsense.
Head in the sand.
Folks let’s follow the CDC science on efficacy of vaccines. Just read the abstract. https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.08.19.21262139v1.full-text
Is there any info on the number if covid cases in the office already? Can we not sue the employer for putting our life in danger in the midst of a global pandemic by providing work spaces that aren't socially distant with no masking in the office and no tests. I hear other companies have gone back into the office too but they have all precautionary measures in place to prevent a spread within the offices. I do not see any at Morgan Stanley though.
So why are they requiring employees to get vaccinated if they are about to do layoffs?
Umm the people who are back in office have already caught covid and some have long haul. No one is being honest about anything. Notice on a lot of meetings no one wears a mask in office. We have two children (under 6) and are panicked about passing it on to them.
They are lying about 91% of firm employees already being vaccinated. Pure lies!
Vaccinated or not, if Gorman keeps his hardline to put as--s back in seats, my wife and I are both going to be out of jobs.
(Since they are firing a ton of us US people in October anyway...some might be lucky and have a job through November)
What a disaster.
Considering everyone's being forced to go back to work and there have been covid infections in the office, would Morgan Stanley take responsibility for long covid or if staff is hospitalized etc?
exactly @hih+1cEWOzLr
if you are jabbed you can just spread as much virus if not more.
what to do ?
It’s a sh!t show no matter what side you’re on. We are never going back to normal.
On the other hand, would they be responsible if it spread and some employee's dies?
if the vaccine does enough mental damage, you may not even be mentally fit to challenge your employer let alone do your job.
Getting the vaccine is your choice. Don't want to get it? Don't get it. It may mean that you need to find another job, but again... that's your choice.
