“Slash and burn”. Isn’t this what has been happening for 20 years now? So nothing new.
@xmg is absolutely right. This is the tip of the iceberg people. You are not reading between the lines of this and NewCo and "Hybrid cloud focus" if you take this at face value and think not much is change. Trust me. Slash and burn is coming throughout the month.
Oh I think there is a massive amount of change there
- Only 500 client face to face accounts
- partners pick up the bulk of IBM sales
- Reps must get more technical / solutions oriented or be gone
- Only two IBM segments
You better duck as IBM is going to shrink a LOT as far as management layers are concerned
