Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Great year! Wonder how that will translate..

into performance raises? Looking forward to a raise that doesn't even keep pace with the higher price to get a bag of our own products.

My job was sent to GBS and which was the biggest blessing of my life. Until you leave the company and move onto something much much better you don’t realize how horrible PepsiCo really is. It is never going to change because it is all about corporate greed and they don’t give a damn about their employees.

3%!? You are very optimistic. They said they were up 10% in 2021 in beverages. Looking at 2% No cost of living. There is a hiring freeze right now. Admins and others cut later

The man who runs this horrid over grown barge of junk food is so far removed from reality he probably doesn’t know the price of a gallon of milk. This embarrassing wreck of the food industry could net profit 50% of gross revenue and the leaders would still find a way to spin the “need to cut”. The only thing that should be cut are their 7 figure salaries. And most of their useless jobs. You are not an asset to them but a liability that needs to go. But they can only cut so far. Hopefully this too big for its britches behemoth will be broken up and sold off in pieces. But before that happens - I pray for my rank and file colleagues to secure their futures so the only ones suffering are the head honchos. Maybe once they miss a mortgage payment or have to choose between food and clothes one month, they’ll start to see the light. Probably not.
