Wasn't Nexus Cloud ki-led already? Nexus Dashboard is the opposite of cloud.
Is Cisco planning to exit the DC networking business then? Less than 5% of Nexus customers are running that Nexus Dashboard stuff. Most are CLI, some are ACI.
Not their choice. It's from ELT Jonathan Davidson ki-ling it off. ACI is dead in maintenance mode. No public formal announcement of EOL until the cisco networking cloud is ready. No new development work for ACI. Arista known is going to take lots of business in USA area away from cisco for 2-4 years when new cisco networking cloud ready.
Next up, IOS-XY, the next generation next generation next generation next generation next generation OS to spawn the need create more replacement operating systems.
Seems like customers did not go all-out for ACI, so now the mantra has changed to "make NXOS great again"

Blame it on outdated product managers whose only concerns are price per port and switch margins.
I've seen internal back-peddling from ACI lately. More talk of how great Nexus Dashboard NFDC is at orchestration, Insights, etc. Haven't heard a peep lately about the old ACI Anywhere cloud story (AWS, Azure). That cloud policy conversation has pivoted to Multicloud Defense (Valtix).
