My Bosses, Bosses, Boss messaged me to let him know when I was in office, was then told to go to a room and wait for a zoom link. Cut in 5 minutes meeting.
Notified by my manager.
Ambushed with the news during my regular 1:1 time, though my manager did actually book a conference room which was unusual.
Got a meeting invite with an HR partner I've never met before Thursday morning. By the time it was my turn I already heard about the layoff conversations that happened already.
@xel+1rsFfc3D - if you don’t mind, would you please share severance package offered?
Thanks.
My boss ghosted me for over a month and then set up a in-person 1:1 in a conference room. The fact the meeting was so organized and an actual room added, along with the factor the all correspondence I'd sent to my boss the previous month went unanswered, it was pretty obvious. That said, I planned to leave this year anyway and now I'm heading down the road with a sweet severance package.
My HR messaged to talk with me via teams and explained. I never talk with this due, so I knew that it was not going to be pleasant news.
