Why is management continuing to increase work loads during a pandemic and a layoff? Its obvious that upper management doesn't care about their employees even though they keep preaching to take care of yourself and our health is the #1 priority.

@wzy and one day after you grow up and get to wear your big boy clothes like daddy you can try to get a job working for an O&G company too, dear.
The only #1 priority is the dividend. They say it at least 4 times a year.
To be honest, we waste so much time with non-value added work processes in Chevron this will be a good thing. When folks are busy (esp managers) they don't have time to come up with all the time crushing initiatives that Chevron loves so much.
Well there's no work going on in the ABU
Need more cpdep
Increased workload? Is there ever much workload at Chevron?
Perhaps they’re getting the employees who remain post-layoff used to an increased workload, given many who will be shown the door are the work horses today.
OIL and GAS company , all it actually does is open a pipe and let the dollars flow out, Not exactly rocket science however hard the Company tries to make it. After all it's simply an inelastic grudge purchase product that's being sold. Who enjoys going to a gas station except boy scouts who work for Chevron? and please every gasoline sold is basically the same be it ARCO, SHELL, EXXON VALERO etc. AND please don't tell me you actually believe all that TECHRON marketing Bull.

Many of them have been fast tracked and taken care of over their career and never had to do any real work. They Don’t even realize how much work is created to fulfill one of their request that came as a whim
