Wonder how much they are spending to bring Gary Sinise in for a chat. Unbelievable

@ww cause he was more affordable than the people we’ve had 😂
Gary Senise has given back more to a deserving/noble community than any GP at the firm. If anything, this could be a lesson to them about virtue.
@ww Gary Sinise is a good guy, and he’s extremely active for our veterans.
That said, I could see Edward Jones hiring someone like him purely to help with positioning, where they’ll post pictures of him at HO and say something like “Gary’s purpose and passion aligns directly with our core values and commitment to service for our clients, communities, and country.”
Meanwhile, you know, we’re outsourcing American jobs to India. The hypocrisy is so blatant.
Why would anyone want to hear what Gary Senise had to say. NBA and Olympic champs I can understand, but Gary Senise?
@fw I don't consider it complaining. It's more of people voicing their frustrations with a company that is rapidly changing in the wrong direction. Usually, people who have a lot of blood sweat tears invested here and still want to see the company do the right thing and NOT destroy itself. That's like telling your spouse "don't ever say anything constructive about me. Either keep your mouth shut, or file divorce!". These "complaints" are simply people trying to sound the alarm because they actually still care about the company VS a yes man like yourself who will blindly follow chubak n friends off the cliff.
@OP , I'm looking forward to meeting him. I'm also very excited for him to speak. He does so much for veterans.
I don't see the point in complaining about how the firm spends money. We know the firm is doing well, and they still decided to reduce head count and move jobs to India. Complain or find something else are the two options...
I know it's expensive, but think of the photo op we can get out of it? It will be like the big 12 coin flop where millions of new clients come rushing in the doors once they see how cool and hip our humble hustle is!
$100k for an actor to speak about client service for 60 minutes to client service employees who make less than $100k a year.
$100K + travel expense….source is Google. Most speakers who are on the speaker circuits have published rates.
