In the past 2 weeks, two of the 11 remaining XBS leaders have left the company. What do they know that you don't? They see the writing on the wall. Leadership that doesn't make decisions, promotions of people who lack the background and experience to truly transform a business and have no desire to even try. If you want to know where the company is spending time and money look at the people posting on this blog lately. Anytime a topic is started within minutes there are internet trolls come and divert the topic to something unrelated. This dilutes the conversation and readers move on to the next topic and so the topic dies. Coincidence? I think not. It's the Xerox PR machine at it's best.
These leaders left successful XBS cores to work in growing businesses where they will be supported, where investments are made strategically to add value. X is just riding the wave until they create enough parts that can be sold off one at a time since this thing isn't worth anything as one big company.
Those of you working in XBS tell me I am wrong. Tell me that your Core leaders are strong business people. The guy in Texas abuses his people and is only interested in playing golf, the lady in Florida is having a party in the middle of a pandemic, the guy in Virginia is a self promoter who bashes his own boss on calls with sales reps and openly talks about how little he thinks of anyone in Corporate X unless they are in ear shot, and on and on and on. What are these people doing to help the company grow and what is Corporate doing to drive change. Nothing is the answer and it is a shame, this used to be a great company.
For context, I have worked at Xerox for 16 years. I was in XBS for several years and have been in Corporate for the last 5. I work with all of these people and I know many of the personally. I am ashamed of what has happened to this once great company. 5 years ago, I would have bet money that I would retire from this company. Now I don't know that I will make it through the next quarter.
