Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Stop wasting your life at Xerox

You'll have nothing to show for it in the end. There are thousands of better companies that appreciate their employees and reward them properly for the work they're doing. Go find one of them. Even if it's not perfect, it's going to be better than here, that's for sure.

Boomers did build the company. If you want to blame someone for less wages and no pension, blame corporate heads. Oh, by the way, boomers have suffered under the new policies also. Sounds like you're an easy sheep for divide and conquer the workforce.

Yet another Boomer trashing Millenials, because trashing another generation is easier than any sort of self reflection or critical thought about the material conditions of your job.

The age infighting is stupid. This is a case where you really aught to appreciate the fact that we’re all in “one boat.”

Why are there so many happy Xerox employees on a layoff site. Can someone explain this to me? I find it weird, but there might be a valid reason?

Terrible company and from the looks of this post, terrible employees left there too. Bottom of the barrel. For shame Zerox

Instead of pi$$ing on Boomers, focus your ire on the senior leadership who are the root cause of what's left of what's going on. No one has a choice on when they were born.

Boomers talk about building the company while also having no problem getting overpaid and getting pension money while those late to the party got nothing besides what’s a work party?

Who does this pretentious Op think they are?! Lol! Like I’ve said many times before on here, you are not my dad or pay my bills! I will in the meantime enjoy making my six-figure income by spreading the Xerox love. Don’t like it? I don’t care. Just because it did not work out for you, there are literally thousands of employees that still work here who think differently. Stop being a crybaby and go enjoy working your KFC shift.

For the boomers...stop your "i walked in the snow 8 miles to the Xerox building each way when i worked there" type of stories. You only earn respect by giving respect. The cry babies that no longer work here earn zero of that when you only come onto this site to spread your disease mentality. Half of you probably cant even figure out how to send an email from your phone without the younger generation's help so no advice is required. Go tell somebody else to get off your lawn.

Nothing out there paying what I make now. Plus the flexibility I get with my current job is very valuable to me.

to the poster @wti+1hSVmNfQ ... talk about drinking the Kool-Aid and being sanctimonious and NAIVE and falling for the empty promises of corporate America. It's sounds like you got led around like a docile, but not too bright, draft animal, sacrificing your life for a product no one uses anymore or cares about, like Kodak film. Your kind of attitude about working in corporate America went out of style 30 years ago, what world do you live in ?

The people "with no family life' in the 80s and 90s built the company that you are now milking. You have a job today because of their tireless efforts. You should respect them, but instead, you just want to live off their legacy. What a little man you are..

I’m enjoying life while working here o much flexibility I have now rather than those who worked with no family life back in the 80s and 90s.
