A Ford plant worker has accused six male managers in Illinois of ra-e and se-ual as--ult in an explosive lawsuit filed this month.

The woman has alleged that she was 'se-----y harassed by several managers, supervisors and co-workers' throughout her tenure of several years with Ford, until she was dismissed for complaining.

She is one of more than three dozen women who have come forward in recent years - adding to similar cases spanning back to 1995 - to complain of se-ual abuse and toxic culture at the plant
Her attorneys Keith Hunt and Delaney Hunt have requested a jury trial to sue Ford Motor Company for an unspecified amount of damages, court papers show.

Those accused in the court documents include supervisors Will Robinson, Jerardo Harris, Sean Brown and Ron Woods, along with her co-workers Torry Burrel and George Fields.

Ford has been contacted for comment - and said in a previous statement that it is committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities.

The woman has accused Robinson of flashing her and forcing her to perform or-l s-x with the threat of sacking if she refused in December 2020.

In the same month, Robinson also allegedly arrived at her home uninvited, forced her into her bedroom and ra--d her.

Court documents say she was 'crying and visibly upset', at which point Robinson asked if she was 'okay' - but when she said she was not, he continued the as--ult.

He allegedly told her he was returning from 'a little vacation' after another female employee 'tried reporting him for se-ual harassment'.

She phoned Robinson's girlfriend and told her what happened, and shortly afterwards Robinson confronted her in the workplace and 'punched her in the face', according to the court documents.

He then allegedly called a co-worker asking them to 'pick me up before I get arrested'.

In January 2021, Woods allegedly 'grabbed, groped and as--ulted' the woman as she was leaving Labor Relations, where she had just filed a complaint against Robinson.

She said she pushed him away and asked him his name, to which he replied: 'You will remember my name – it's Ron Woods'.

The woman has also said that Harris made 'unwanted se-ual advances', and when she rejected him, he threatened to terminate her employment.

Burrel 'forcibly kissed' and groped her, and when she complained, he got his wife, who is also a supervisor at the plant, to subject her to increased scrutiny over her job performance, according to court documents.

Fields is named among those who she said exposed their genitals to her.

The document adds that on one occasion when she was in the lunchroom, he turned off the lights and grabbed her from behind, pushing her onto a table, which put her 'in imminent fear of being ra--d or enduring other serious bodily injury'.

She complained to Sean Brown, who ran the apprenticeship program she was on, but he later se-----y harassed her between March and June 2019, the lawsuit says.

Ford terminated her employment in recent years, allegedly 'in retaliation for her complaints', and accusing her of as--ulting Robinson - which she has denied.

The court document notes that 'se-ual harassment, gender discrimination and retaliation have long been widely known problems for women' working within the Ford Illinois plant.

Ford has paid millions of dollars to settle claims brought by women.

In 1995, nine people sued Ford for se-ual harassment, s-x discrimination, race discrimination, as--ult, battery intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligent retention.

Two years later, in 1997, 14 women filed a class action lawsuit against the company alleging se-ual harassment.

In response to these cases, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) launched investigations into Ford, and concluded that women at the plant in Illinois had been 'subjected to se-ual harassment by managers and non-managers'.

'The women have been called se-----y degrading names such as bes, wh*s and offensive references to female genitalia,' the EEOC said at the time.

'They have been physically touched, grabbed and groped, and have had body parts massaged without their consent.

'They have had to endure se-ual comments and innuendos including suggestive references to female body parts and their functions.'

It added that 'po-nographic materials' such as calendars and nu-e pictures of women at the plant also contributed to the 'hostile and se-----y offensive environment'.

More than 30 women also complained of se-ual harassment at the Ford plant in 2014, and several more filed similar complaints in 2020.

This time, the EEOC noted that managers had subjected African-American employees to 'racial harassment' as well as women experiencing se-ual harassment, according to court documents.

Ford has been contacted for comment - and said in a previous statement that it is committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities.

'Ford is fully committed to ensuring equal employment opportunity and diversity in all of its facilities nationwide,' the company told The New York Post.

'Ford adheres to a comprehensive and zero-tolerance anti-harassment policy: harassment and discrimination are completely against our culture and cannot be tolerated.

'When complaints of harassment, discrimination, or other misconduct are raised, our policy is to promptly investigate and address those complaints as warranted.

'Ford cannot comment on specific litigation or personnel matters at this time.'

@wss y’all are a horse’s rear end and sound sadly uneducated. You must fit right in with the rest of Ford’s poor quality issues. You are likely model e or canopy.

RMQFp- Hopefully you are prepared. Even if they keep you, they may let your GSR go (who may have 25 years of experience). Then you'll be sh*tting bricks. It happened to me in 2008. They let everyone around me go, except me. It took 6 months before they would give me someone else. I'm the meantime, I was drowning in work for 6 months.

CAP also sucks for quality. Shut it down and build a new plant somewhere else in the mid-west, Indiana was talked about last time.

Great. The management screws up and we have to pay. This means we will all have to endure 4 more hours of “harassment training” even though we didn’t do anything wrong. Maybe it’s only the management that needs the classes.

Dang, how many times are we going to hear about this before they just pull the plug on the Chicago plant? To think that we closed Norfolk and Atlanta and left this tu-d open amazes me!

If this is happening and being ignored, there should be severe consequences to the executives turning their heads. I don't feel sorry for them if they get the pants sued off them, maybe then, they will learn to keep them on.

Years to get this fixed and still it goes on... makes you wonder about the people in charge at Ford. They clearly either approve of the environment or don’t care. Bill oh Bill
