Giving 80k employees RSI's every year?

The reason for all the stock buybacks in tech is to keep the outstanding shares relatively level due to the amount of stock options and restricted stock handed out. They claim it is to boost earnings per share (less shares), but that is a myth.
They give out RSUs to employees in acquisitions to keep them around long enough to give them an LR package. You would hate for them to miss the entire Cisco experience.

Yes, because no one has ever made a typo before. With the I and the U being right next to each other it just seems impossible for someone to hit the wrong key.
Also cheap locations like eastern Europe get RSU because of high turnover, best people have been resigning, being fed up with the exploitation and politics.
@wrs+1aXnVZM3 They give a RSUs to new employees who come in via acquisition to reduce turnover in these newer orgs. Ask any new acquisition employee. They don't have to be Grade 10. In fact, employees from acquisitions don't even know what Grade 10 means.
