I agree below poster. We are talking about this intense round. You are correct layoffs are constantly happening but the VPs usually are not retiring or leaving. This is the largest and most extensive layoff I have been and the last nine years I’ve worked here

The lay offs started before June. I was RIF’d last November and there were always RIF’s going on somewhere in the company the 8 years I was employed. Pretty sure RIF at Humana doesn’t have a start and stop point. It’s more like their culture… simply a way of everyday life.

Glad you woke up. We have been aware for several months now since layoffs started in June.

And, it’s all over business news and town hall meetings for over the past year that Humana has a business model it’s adapting by focusing on in home services to higher acuity members….flash forward to the reorganization of the markets, which will mean restructuring, and RIFS…what are we supposed to be waking up to? The question is where will it happen? And, how much does licensure come into play? Humana is pumping up employees in Centerwell sites. If I live in NJ and I have a compact license, does that mean I’ll be able to work telephonically for members in Wisconsin? Are they going to create more Hybrid jobs for Medicare advantage members and expand SNP telephonic? We have woken up, poster. Anything relevant to share, since you still seem half asleep?

I think we know that by all the announcements and changes that management has told us about.
