Thread regarding Crown Castle International Corp. layoffs

Swag

I propose a ceremonial bonfire where we can all rid ourselves of purple swag and Connected By Good t-shirts. We can build a fire ring out of the ridiculous tenure tombstones. I bet the number of those that were packed up and moved this week is staggering. It’ll be therapeutic. I’ll bring the Tito’s.

The homeless people under the bridge happily took ours.

Most places will not accept company branded apparel, it will end up in the garbage.

PLEASE make sure to send any Crown Castle clothing to Houston based donation centers so that all the homeless can be seen wearing Crown Castle apparel. I wouldn't want JB to go without recognition for all the work he's done to ensure that employees are kept homeless and jobless going into the holiday season.

I'll take anyone's Yeti tumbler they don't want. Love these things.

It hurt going into the closet and removing so many items for the past 12 years. Those 12 years has brought us many ups and downs but at the end of the day, I just packed into a box and put away. It su-ks but our family wouldn’t be here today if Crown never gave our family a chance.

@wkm+1o4upSPA You are 100% right! Less also applies to less skill, less work etc... Most positions can be contracted. That's why CC likes to use contract to "maybe" hire employees. They have quite a few on the fiber construction and fiber design side. Network Operations has been a challenge though. It's more difficult to contract out network techs as they actually need to be able to access the network and make changes on the fly to network equipment.

I cut mine into rags already. I've been using them to clean the litter box.

Never give blood, sweat and tears to a job. If you die, your job will be posted before your obituary.

Fiber requires heads while tower can generate returns with less. Common sense

@ije+1o4upSPA, people have posted here that we’re hiring and promoting in the fiber side at the same time we’re letting people go. Yet fiber loses money like a leaky dam.

If I could find my 5 year plaque I'd join in. Just short of getting that 10 year to throw in too.

Never give your life to a place who can replace you in week, so goes the saying. Completely true.

The amount of talent they threw away is sickening. and not to mention the countless people who have been there for 15-20+ years; they are losing so much with no information and being treated so poorly. It seems inhumane for CC to turn around and post job openings before we even receive our final paychecks.

Donate it to homeless shelters. It's a good deed and funny dig at Crown
