Just a quick rant!

I joined 3M in 2014 as a business analyst. I was a happy new employee, eager to do different things. Above all I wanted to learn. All worked fine first. After some time I realized that the management does not care about new employees, they uninterested in anything we do and they always complain about our performance (even though we do our best).

I accepted this as part of the job but it started to get worse, after some time my managers were just not interested in me and my work anymore. They were power hungry, their only goal was me make my life miserable in order to force me out of the company. Started by giving me long hours and then, when I refused to leave (because I love what I do) they started to give me impossible tasks; or tasks that were unrelated with my job description but nevertheless he had been giving them as a reason for demoting me.

I still don't understand how this happened: how does a company who advocates diversity and fairness can allow managers to behave this way.

Anyhow, I left in 2020 on my own and I am happier now.

I still want to think this is all an exception and that other managers are not as wicked as the group I had to deal with.

@whx+1jE3xCZd really? What vaccine,oh the marketing term? What pandemic in % of worldwide deaths (inflated by ..?) N95 work for viruses? Oh yeah after 2020. You have saved the world. You are one shot away from "being free". Now act as you are told!

Really people? Still bitter about getting the Covid vaccine so that your co-workers (and your family & friends) can be safer during a pandemic?? You can gripe about 3M management about a lot of things, but 3M following government mandates (before it was struck down in court) was not the company's choice.

ya that injection was big scam. still tied up in federal law that 2 days before 3Ms deadline, it didnt pass and 3M oh i guess its not mandatoray now.. ge-z thanks, how do people undo the shot? maybe next time wait for lawsuit to clear courts before mandated something.

This is a great rant! Joined 3M and felt the same about work then found out the same about managers. I have always had multiple sources of income - non of 3Ms or anybody's business - never disclosed.

I have never been a corporate or any of that nonsense citizen, only a US citizen. When a company tells me what to inject in my body then I do have a problem with it. When I see paid advertisements talking about the most ethical company, and the same managers promoting it, I sit back and watch the rat race thinking what would a person do for an extra $15-20k a year.
