As engineers, we can over time likely create EV's that will find a useful purpose for certain transportation needs, however mo--ns in government are trying to punish society into buying large volumes of over-priced and under-performing EV Vehicles that are not ready for the average family to use.
@wfb Ford LOSES money on EVERY EV we sell. They are not profitable.
Young and affluent people will buy EVs. The smaller volume will be outweighed by the greater profit per vehicle.

When government tries to push alternate solutions that strangely keep global commodity trading, mining and financing intact even though the solution isn't scalable and is an environmental train wreck, nobody embraces it.
