Guess all the 9/18 projections were wrong. Enjoy another few weeks in purgatory. Mounting Schwab related bad press in the news the past few days as well. This is like watching a train wreck in slow motion.

Any ideas of what departments might be affected?
Are we still sticking with the illusion that it's non client facing positions that will be affected the most?
If there were indeed layoffs today it should be reflected in org charts tomorrow. Chances are few, if any cuts, happened. That said, the week just started.

We just received an email from our MD that two of the directors in our department were let go based on “aforementioned cost reduction exercises”
They also don’t happen by showing up to find out your badge is shut off.

Schwab layoffs usually don’t happen on Monday or Friday based on what I read.
