Agent here. I only have true “Policy Center” for business apps thus far. But in order to even complete a quote…..I have have completed all the Underwriting. That can’t possibly bode well for underwriters as this thing really rolls out.

Its going to be interesting, both with the company now hiring people into old role format positions, and also, slated to totally flip that all upside down in a month or two.

Its not adding up. Layer onto that, emergency state of absolute chaos for all the entry level roles. All departments are short staffed, majorly, and they still havent back filled all the people they forced down to entry level, granted they are hiring, something those of us who were forced into an entry level job LOVE seeing. Glad they followed through with their promise that the people forced to move dept would be the first considered for rehiring...not a single peep to anyone that hiring was starting up.

If they move forward with this role consolidation, I cant even imagine what working for a company with even higher turnover than already exists. Turnover rate has to be the biggest concern for managers unless they are fine with ki----g the company off.

I just can’t see any significant changes in U/W on that timeline. ET is building a series of pretty amazing technologies under the PLM mod umbrella, but the first release is OH in Q1 2022 and then it’s gonna run for 6 months to monitor it before expanding to additional states. So yes, underwriting is going to shrink dramatically (the USA job will mostly be gone) and the underwriter role will be actually underwriting and reunderwriting a book of business strategically verses “processing” today. But I’d be surprised if there were major changes before 2023. And even then, we could sc--w Mod up. This is the 8th time SF has attempted this and failed since the early 90s. We have to get it right this time so there is no will to cancel the effort.

Right. Same group that “knew” Tipsord was going to be fired and led out of the boardroom by Rust. Same brainiacs that “knew” existing employees were going to lose their pension or at the very least frozen.

I mean I've seen material on the upcoming "transition" in huddles, everyone knows theres something about to happen to flip the company upside down and usher in a new era of total chaos with claims. Most departments are already in a state of emergency due to upper management incompetence with staffing.

It might be fine after a few years but its about to make everyone's past gripes look like the good old times.

This all seems to be in line with reducing claim handler staff at any expense without regard to our core business or customers that's been playing out the last 10 years.

November - TMs will start meeting with employees to discuss the new Future State Operating models- Fire re-org, HRU, Stewardship, Prox....Team Lead structure U/W, Auto/FIre, a lot less TM's-only in the specialized areas, no ratings for employees, like TMs are today, with just a percentage/EIP. Levels of leadership will start getting cut and there will be more targeted transitions for tenured TMs, SMs, and CMs. Most CMs and SMs jobs are gone. AFS and Sales Leaders jobs are basically going away too. Korn Ferry will be utilized to determine who stays and go! Estimatics is done and so are most of Prox-outsourced to third party vendors-transition plans will be offered or more reassignments.
