What Atul did was brave act. We all see and bear but seldom act or say. He stepped out and bravely said it. Way ahead of us..
unfortunately nothing changed. We have way more weeds in AME currently .
I know these incompetent managers in AME have been looking for opportunities since last few years but they keep failing.
I had one of them queuing in line with me when I was applying for Job in Micron three years ago. He is promoted to director and still in GF as he was rejected from Micron. I heard he applied to Lam and Applied and was rejected as well.

Just remember their names… and of all those incompetent management and leaders around you. Remember their names and watch. When they land some where else be sure to reach out to new employers and give them a performance review (a practice Globalfoundries does do too people leaving )
The worst one probably the chief business officer. His last job before joining GF was an application engineer before being fired, since joining GF , his priority apart from accumulating stock options for himself has been to build an organization under himself consisting of individuals even bigger

There is a lot of illegal hr related practices afoot at Globalfoundries… that’s why ER retired all of a sudden… under her watch basically institutional racism was employed and enforced and things started getting hot so she bailed

Heard employees age 50 year and above are going to be key targets and will be primary target throughout this year and next as they are equivalent to two new of less experienced employees. Idea is to create their back up and replace them with yoong and low cost employees. What the heck going on ?
Agree rebel or unionize is only way to stop this.
Atul was right. You see whatever he said all coming true. Not sure if he had better way to say this but everything he said is so true.

Maybe it’s time we rebel or unionize. There were whispers of protests and walk outs in malta about a month or 2 back.
Hang around until the layoff. They may answer that question for you.
