Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Wait and see

People really should take a step back when it comes to RTO. You are getting upset over things that have not happened yet. Things are changing daily and until we know for sure I refuse to get upset. I have plenty of things to worry about as it is, I don't need to add unnecessary stress to the mix.

There is no employer liability for employees taking the vaccine even if it is required. In fact, you cannot even sue the dr-g manufacturers due to blanket liability enacted in February. Employees are free to take vaccine or not (unless Government mandates it) and free to accept conditions of employment, or not.

this aint the military so nope

if they require it which is legal they accept liabilities for side effect however low they may be
not sure a corporation this big wants that risk but who knows

I am not advocating to not vaccinate , its the opposite i wish all did but this aint the military you cant just force people

Back when i was in the military we dropped trousers and got a vaccine while standing in a line. Easiest way to get the masses vaxed.

Nah, people are already unhappy with how the company treats its workers. Everyone on the CA/CS level must sacrifice constantly for customers and executives. Thats separate from the RTO. Now with the RTO adding more layers of BS and problems that your employees will be forced to deal with, while a good and problem free alternative exists, is just another thing your workers will need to deal with, another pill they have to swallow and like.

Just let those who want to return the ability to, and stop bullying your workers around by letting those who are fine with WFH to stay WFH.

Also a big issue is the rumors and lack of info from management, which has been a huge issue for all of COVID. No one knows how tolitarian the return will be. We dont know specifics. He-l we dont even have time for huddles or meetings so even if it was known we wouldnt know. And now rumors of forced vaccines added to the mix.
