Update from the trenches. US citizens get fired, but all the H1Bs are still there.

@1vp we are a trillion dollar company and they have limited licenses for do-pilot if you don’t have it they don’t think your important

@wx How do we use copilot at FM? FredAI is a real thing inside FM...but it's also a terrible joke. Most of FM's technology is a joke - their execs read out of date advice in sky mall, then scramble to implement last decades concepts.

@v5 30% is in combined HR/PR only. All will be done by the end of March. They don’t care about risk all that much and think Fred Ai and copilot can do most of comms work

@tt 30 pct? lol that would massively impact operations and raise risk concerns. It also wouldn’t allow bypassing WARN. At this point these threads have turned into a troll hub

30% reduction in Q1. More to come later this year per Mike’s wishes

@p9 well, most do need a paycheck badly. A career pivot takes time - where do you propose they go?

Who in their right mind would stay in HR unless they need a paycheck badly. Comms people got a serious downgrade by being combined with HR. Good luck!
