Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Rama and spawn

Amazing to watch a new hire go from nothing to director in 6 months.. oh wait it's Rama's daughter. So fun to watch her from her penthouse during the pandemic win all awards on top of it.

@tlh+1qyLRMxH “ Pretty sure that nepotism is against company policy. I have taken the Schwab ethics training every year for five years now and you are not allowed to give your customer or relative’s kid an internship opportunity if they ask for it, let alone cram your own progeny into a director’s level position in six months. I guess rules don’t apply to the top.”

🤣🤣 nepotism is against company policy…. sure it is haha. 🙄 Let’s all pretend we don’t know who Carrie is.

I guess their experience should be audited. I know some folks joined with fake experience are promoted to Directors in no time

saw some of these posts... people that don't spend like movie stars can actually save money and not scramble when they lose jobs.. the nepo stuff su-ks but it is life I guess. Be your own company and board of directors. Best of luck to you and don't worry about the snakes out in the world (if you can avoid them!!)

The amount of nepotism & cronyism by the STS SMT (you have to love the inane acronyms) is sickening. It has been this way for a while, and it won't change with this "leadership."

Audit this guys money spending habit or I mean giving fund to project which fails. and never see the light of the day and target him for that.
I pretty much sure, he would have overran the cost what ever he was leading. tools team for sure.

RTO has lots of threads/comments.. maybe venting is part of what this website is about

I can see how getting let go might sting if you see nepotism rewarding those close to the top brass and don't say anything. Let it go.. it happens everywhere (if that helps)

What has this got to do with anything or anyone on a layoff site? Look, things are unfair. Some of us got laid off just before the holidays and are still scrambling to search for jobs. Somehow you seem to have the time to be watching everyone and their family’s careers and be salty about it. If you need to vent about that, find another forum.
