Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Have you been told what your raise is going to be yet ?

Claims CS here, I was told my rating a few weeks ago, but still haven’t learned what my raise will be for the year. Is my TM just behind the curve here ?

Budget was 3.5%, which was too low given inflation. So for every person who got 4%, someone else had to get 3% to meet budget. For those talking about the old 8-12% days, your forgetting a big chunk of that was paid out as “performance cash.” They got rid of that and instead put in EIP. EIP pays out more than performance cash did.

It wasn't that great at the top end of performance ratings either. Kept pace with inflation, and that's about it.

Injury CS, 3 rating and a 3.5% raise.

I got a 3 rating and a 2.5% merit and I’m in the lower third of my pay grade. I thought I had seen that 3.5% was the target they planned to give to folks so it’s not something I’m happy with.

I got basically told I’m worth 1% in a 7% economy.

dbr+1faikopz, mine was higher, but what difference does it make? Inflation was at least 7%, which means you pay more in cost if items and sales tax for the items you buy, and more income puts you into a higher tax bracket.

It is 2-2.5-3-3.5 - the same as it has been…. Gone are the days of 8-12% like the early 2000’s.

It’s somebody specific to your leadership hierarchy. Numbers were put out for release last week.

Yes they are behind the curve. Look in Workday and it will be there. Your new salary was effective yesterday.

This is a fine example of leadership's ability. They have to go in a room, discuss how many crumbs they have for the team and divvy up the crumbs as to who: they like, who "fits in", who's the "player, and who is their pet. It's all politics and to keep a divide among the team. Tom's due to their brainwashing will never discuss with the worker what is discussed in the room because they are sheep and will not provide a defense for the worker because outcome will remain unchanged. They're cookie cutter clones. They'd rather be on a golf course.

Could be your TM, maybe your SM. I'm an injury CS and my team was advised of our merit increase on 1/28.
