My prediction is that the outcome of Bain’s dirty-work will be that your department and your job are being assessed by the Bain experts for relevance. If you are not what Bain deems as critical you will be eliminated before Q2 earnings are released, whether you are good or not. Ironically that probably doesn’t include MC, who most privately agree is one of the most irrelevant buffoons at CDW. My manager just told me that they are reviewing funding sources for positions. They are looking for direct partner contracts for roles.
Bain is a consultant CDW has been working with for years.
We also have Deloitte engaged amongst many others.
Seeing one of the consultants we use on-site is not a sign of anything besides that they have an in-person meeting that day.
There are Bain & Company contractors reporting to Mark Chong right now. Something is absolutely coming.
