Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

How many are looking?

How many here are actively looking to get out of State Farm? I’ve been searching for months now and while I’ve had interviews none of them seem to be panning out. Not sure if it’s just the job market in general since I’ve also been looking outside of the industry. Anyone have any luck so far?

I can't wait for agents like this thumb-up-his-a55 to be replaced by statefarm.com, Hi-Road, etc.

"1ncx- FYI I am a hardasss in person also, that’s why I work for myself (agent). I can’t stand the pssinnng and moaning of the corporate world, everyone wants to complain but no one is willing to make a change, why is that? Cause it takes what you lack, ballls and courage. "

Lol! "A hardass in person too"? You're hilarious. Allow me to correct you, there's a difference between being a 'hardass' and a d–k. You are absolutely the latter. I am also an agent and I laugh at people like you who think they have to be a jerk to others to prove their superiority. If you have to prove it, you don't have it. So, now that we've established (by your metrics) that I have 'ballls' & courage (because only agents do, right?), how about allowing someone with respect for others and common courtesy to have a conversation without you jumping in screaming look at me, look at me. Look what I can do......

Been looking for years, insurance and claim adjusting is a dead end career now. Your choices are SF and deal with what you deal with, possibly go elsewhere and deal with salary pay and mounds of work and expected OT for no extra pay. Or deal with worse technology. All insurance companies seek to reduce their human capital, or at least american human capital.

There are few better options to stay in the industry. SF knows the value in reducing numbers by discontent versus just laying off dead weight. We are in the same boat as allstate, just different optics. Think about how high executive pay can be when there are no workers to have to pay!

SF pretty much let third party vendors (TEK, NTT, local agencies and others) A take over and put them in high Manager, Director and lead positions. HR and Projects and Planning and most departments

Based on what it appears.

Remarkable how brave you are behind a keyboard. I guess trolls exist at SF as well as everywhere else. I wonder if you feel better being a snarky arse-hat to people you don't know? Must not have much of a life.

Learn proper grammar, or did you mean for the OP to "quick looking"?

The fact your interviews are not panning out you may want to quick looking and focus on the job you got-for now.
